The Decision Man
I joined Salter in 2013 and have since focused on mechanical noise analysis, acoustical modeling, vibration, environmental, and room acoustics. I enjoy what I do because no two projects are the same: one day it’s an environmental noise study and the next it’s a major medical center or mixed-use gymnasium. Whether I’m in the office or the field, my energy comes from supporting my team to work through a challenge. At the end of the day, I’m here to help clients make sound decisions that achieve their goals.
Never Bored of Great Architecture
In 2015, I was thrilled to write and share a presentation about sound mitigation for gyms in mixed-use buildings at InterNoise (the International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering). San Francisco’s architecture never ceases to amaze me, even after years of working in the city. My design bug doesn’t stop there: building my house is a satisfying and ongoing creative endeavor.
