Expertise Meets Execution

My experience in design, construction, business, and law is combined in my acoustical engineering practice. I use my knowledge as an expert witness to develop acoustical design solutions for building projects. I typically manage about 100 contracts involving building acoustics and environmental noise analysis. One of my most memorable professional achievements was being selected as the acoustical engineer for LucasFilm’s Technical Building at Skywalker Ranch. Our firm won the American Consulting Engineers Council Excellence Honor Award for the project in 1988.

Consultant, Educator, and Author

My career in acoustics began as a student and consultant in the Boston area. I relocated to San Francisco to start an acoustical consulting group for an engineering company and, in 1975, started our firm. I’ve received accolades for my contributions as an educator and author, including co-writing a book on acoustics and teaching at the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design for over 40 years. Travelling the world is a passion of mine, and my wife and I have visited various parts of the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
