A Range of Expertise

The best part of my job is the variety. Every day is different, whether I’m walking a construction site, doing calculations in the office, or meeting with clients. Before joining the team at Salter, I spent two years with another firm in Oregon, where I worked on environmental noise control projects such as mines, quarries, wind farms, and light rail systems. Now, I focus on residential and commercial projects, including schools and healthcare environments. Acoustical modeling fascinates me, and I’m learning more about using software to better predict the variables of construction processes and preemptively address potential sound issues. After seven years in Salter’s San Francisco office, I’m happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest leading our new Seattle office.

The Spice of Life

My husband and daughter are everything to me, and when I’m not working, I’m spending as much time with them as I can. This often includes cooking elaborate meals with friends. I’m a shameless dessert lover and baking is a passion of mine: I’m always creating something sweet and delicious to share. Playing the flute in a community band gives me the chance to express myself through music, another favorite artistic outlet of mine.
