ClimateWorks Foundation is a global network committed to climate action and the collective power of philanthropy. The headquarters are located inside the Russ Building, a historic neo-gothic office tower in San Francisco’s Financial District. Salter provided acoustical and audiovisual consulting for the LEED Platinum tenant improvement of a 15,000 square foot office, which was the highest-scoring LEED for Commercial Interiors project in California at the time of its completion in 2010. Our audiovisual consultants focused on two video conference rooms and a pre-function gathering space. Because ClimateWorks hosts virtual meetings with collaborators all over the world, who often call in via cell phone or video conferencing, audio quality was our highest design priority. We also delivered an aesthetically finished room by hiding loudspeakers behind ceiling features and fabric where possible.
